Gregg Lindner
Executive Vice President, Research
Gregg Lindner brings over 20 years of quantitative and qualitative research experience to lead Scarborough’s research team. Gregg is responsible for quality assurance of all Scarborough data, creating and adapting research methodologies, custom research projects and overall management of Scarborough data products. He leads all of the company’s operations including data collection, data analysis, data delivery, call center management and all other aspects of the business that ensure the accuracy and usefulness of the Scarborough database. Under his leadership, Scarborough has grown its product offering to include 75 local market consumer studies, a national consumer study and Hispanic studies.
Gregg has an extensive background in consumer and media research. He directed the development of new products, software, applications and policies for Arbitron’s cable and advertiser-marketer sales groups. During his tenure at Simmons, Gregg updated systems through introducing new data collection procedures and modernized processes which resulted in a sharp decrease in data errors for the company. Gregg began his research career as a statistician for the U.S. Census Bureau.
Many of Gregg’s research papers have been featured in industry publications and he is a frequent presenter at conferences. He has a Masters degree in quantitative analysis and urban sociology from the University of Maryland.
Gregg is a huge baseball fan and has indoctrinated his three young children as New York Mets fans. |
